안녕하세요! BAKBA League의 President, Ryan D입니다!
이렇게 3번째 Newsletter와 함께 우리 BAKBA League Member분들 찾아뵙게 되었습니다!
9월 한달간의 치열했던 순위경쟁을 끝으로 이제 2016 정규 Season을 마무리 지었습니다!
드디어! 10월 한달간 진행될 흥미진진한 Playoffs 경기들을 앞두고 몇가지 공지 사항을 알려드리고자 합니다!
1) 2016 Season Playoff games!
2016년 정규 Season은 다음과 같은 순위로 마무리 됬습니다
이번 10월 한달간 진행될 Playoffs는 먼저 정규시즌을 각각 1, 2위로 마감한 East Bay Bears와 Silicon Valley Giants는 부전승으로 4강전에 올라가게 되었습니다!
(축하드립니다! 짝! 짝! 짝!)
위의 두팀은 앞으로 2주동안 룰루랄라(?) 체력을 비축하며..! 또, 여유롭게(?) Playoffs에 대비한 연습등을 진행하며 10월 15일에 있을 4강전을 기다리게 되었습니다.
10월 첫째주와 둘째주는 4강 진출 2자리를 놓고...
3위로 진출한 San Jose Stealers는 6위 Stanford Cardinals와 Playoff경기를 가질 예정이며 4위로 진출한 United Fungoz와 5위 Symphony Sluggers가 Playoff경기를 진행합니다.
Playoff 경기인 만큼 치열하게 진행되겠지만, 모두 부.상.없.이 신나는 Playoff를 즐기실수 있도록 조심해 주시길 부탁드립니다!
2) BAKBA League운영진 2016 Season 2차 정규 회의
저희 BAKBA League운영진은 이번 2016 Season 2차 정규 회의때 나온 몇가지의 회의안에 대해서 투표/설문을 통하여 우리 리그원분들의 의견을 듣기로 결정했습니다.
- Upcoming 2017 Season Schedule운영 형식: Year-round Season형식 VS Spring & Fall Season형식
- 선호하는 경기장: Kitayama / Northgate / Milpitas / San Leandro / Tennyson / Ortega / Pleasanton
- 2017 Season 참가여부: Yes / No
- 2017 Season Team이동 희망여부 및 Draft 참가 희망여부: Yes / No
지난 8월달에 날아간 Newsletter #2를 통해 진행했던 설문 조사 (BAKBA 2016 Season - Symphony Sluggers의 선수 지원/임대)와 동일하게 Google Doc을 통한 설문지가 날아갈 예정입니다.
10월 초쯤에 설문을 진행할 예정입니다 - 많은 참여 부탁 드립니다
3) 2016 Season Final Game/Event
9월 마지막주에 진행할 계획이었던 All-Stars Game/Event #2는이번 2016년 Season의 결승전 행사로 대신합니다.
각팀의 대표자님/감독자님께서 각팀에 Follow-up하여 이 결승전 행사에 왜 꼭 참가해야하는지! 그 중요성을 알려드릴 예정입니다.
자세한 사항과 Detail한 부분은 확정되는대로 각팀의 감독자님 (혹은 대표자님)께서 알려드릴 예정입니다.

Greetings to all!
This is Ryan D. (President) of the BAKBA League.
Fall is in the air, the MLB American League Wild Card race is a daily 'must-see' event and BAKBA League playoff games are taking center stage, looming in our cross hairs.
I must say "Our baseball life is good"!
Here, I have couple things to announce;
1) Please refer to www.bakba.net and look under 'League Schedule' for our Playoff game schedule;
2) We, BAKBA League committee, just had our 2nd annual meeting last week; as a result of our discussion, we've decided to conduct a short survey in preparation for 2017 Season.
Please stay tuned as your team manager will follow up with you and give more details about the survey (questions) that will come through shortly.
3) Also, please note that All-Stars Game/Event #2 (originally scheduled for 09/30/2016) has been replaced with 2016 Season Final Game/Event instead. (11/05/2016 Saturday)
Just like our previous All-Stars Game/Event#1, it will be an exciting day with lots of baseball events.
We are currently working to finalize the program/event agenda - we will keep you updated.
